3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 1/4 cups cooking oil
1 cup pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 medium apples
3 Eggs
|Mix and sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda.

Peel and core apples. Mix with chopped pecans. Add to dry ingredients.

Make a "well" in the center. Pour in oil and well beaten eggs.
Thoroughly mix and then add vanilla.

Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Test
for doneness with straw.
