| Gather Round Pound Cake |
6 ounces butterscotch morsels
2 tablespoons instant coffee
1/4 cup water
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
4 Eggs
|Melt together in double boiler butterscotch morsels, instant coffee and
water.
Cream butter and sugar. Blend into butterscotch mixture.
Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, alternately with
buttermilk.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat at medium speed.
Bake in greased Bundt pan at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing.
